with a jobseeker?
First of all, our services do not cost you, the jobseeker, anything.
Registering and posting your resume with us allows to know you
better, it allows us understand what your skills are, what type
of jobs you are looking for and your expected salary.
Your registration starts the job matching process:
- Our consultants review your details
and assess them against any possible vacancies.
- A screening interview will be arranged
to help our consultants to get to know you better. This helps
us to find a vacancy that you are best suited for.
- When a vacancy is available, our consultants
will contact you to advise you of the next steps.
At this point we differentiate ourselves
from most others. We are with you all the way! Whether it's
a review of your resume, advising you interview techniques,
helping you understand the characteristics of the prospective
employer’s corporate culture, how the company measures
success or where this position will lead your career…we
can assist you in determining if this opportunity is right for
you and aligns with your career strategy. We will keep you informed
all along the process and will do everything we can to prepare
you for this opportunity.
We often play a neutral third party role to assist in answering
unasked questions, work out the details of an offer, help determine
relocation costs, or even attempt to find employment for your
spouse…regardless of the problem; we can often find a

that is suitable for you.

- How do I register?
The first step to registering with First Alliances is to have
a valid e-mail address. This will be the primary means of contact
with you as well as being a means of logging into your personal
area.
To complete registration, you will need to enter 3 sections of
information.
(a) Professional Experiences
(b) Academic & Professional Qualifications
(c) Personal Details
If you already have an existing resume, you should also copy and
paste it in the space provided in the Personal Details section
of the registration. If you don’t yet have one prepares,
you may want to prepare it as soon as possible.

- How do I apply for jobs?
Each job opportunity posted on our website has an “Apply”
link that you click to apply. The system may ask you to login
if you didn’t already do that before applying.

- If I could not complete the
registration, can I come back later to complete it?
The complete registration process takes less than 15 minutes but
you can stop at the end of every section and save your information.
All your data will be stored in our system. Only completed registrations
are processed. We download data from the web every day and will
have your registration processed within one working day of completion.
So the sooner you complete your registration, the sooner we could
look for job opportunities for you.

- How can I update my details to show
changes after I registered?
We recommend you return regularly to update your information.
This can include special training, awards you have received or
new job details when changes occur; anything that can help you
with your application. All you have to do is login and update
the information you previously entered.

- Can I apply for more than one job?
Yes, you can. You can also view all the applications you have
made, and you can add or delete any applications you wish.
